The Dos and Don'ts of Proposing:
- Don't put her ring in food; huge choking hazard!
- Propose in a way that is significant or unique to the two of you. You want
this event to be special something that will be remembered all of your lives.
- Do not ask too many people's opinion on how to or where to propose;
too many cooks in the kitchen as they say, you are just asking for problems.
- Avoid proposing at high rates of speed
- Avoid heights and large bodies of water; a lot of people seem to like proposing
in natural surroundings but don't forget it only takes a shaky hand or a bump the wrong
way to send a ring flying, it happens more than you think!
- Do not propose in front of large groups and or family unless you are sure of
the outcome
- Do speak from the heart
- Buy the best quality you can afford. Figure out which of the 4C's are the
most important to you and buy your ring accordingly. Some prefer size
over color and or clarity while others would rather have a smaller, whiter
diamond for their money.
